Our Story
“Being healthy should be easy, fun and accessible whilst being good for the planet. By creating AMLA, I want to bring vibrant Indian goodness in a recyclable plant-based package.” – Kanira, Founder of AMLA.
In the midst of the pandemic, she decided to develop an immunity-boosting health drink inspired by her Indian heritage and bring the little-known Indian gooseberry into the limelight. The brand reflects her aspirations and desire to help people follow an easy, environmentally conscious yet healthy lifestyle.
Kanira has built a successful career in Venture Capital working with funds such as DN Capital backing & growing European startup leaders. Millennia ago, she spent a few years as a model and actress, and understands what it means to keep your body, skin and mind healthy. She holds an MBA from INSEAD and an MSc and MEng from Imperial College London.
